2009 Fall Calendar Raffle Information
The 2009-2010 Show Choir is in the process of putting together a Calendar Raffle Fundraiser this Fall. The
parents and students will be asking local businesses to donate gifts to fill up each day in the calendar box.
Each of you, as a family, will be responsible for getting at least (1) business donation. The monies raised for
this event will go towards the purchase of costumes and transportation to music festivals. The monies that
you raise will go into each of your individual accounts.
The cost of the raffle ticket will be $10.00. This will entitle that person to enter our daily drawings. With the
value of each gift at a minimum of $25.00, we certainly made it attractive for a person to purchase a raffle
ticket.
What makes this fundraiser beneficial to each of you is that 100% of the monies raised goes to you -- NO
splitting the profit with the cheesecake company!!
At the end of August or beginning of September, each student will receive a large envelope containing
Calendars to sell. The student will have until the end of September to sell as many calenders as possible. The
drawings will start October 1.
Remember, each member of show choir and pit band is responsible to bring in at least one donation.
Together, everyone can help make this a successful fundraiser which will benefit each individual member.
